Case study: Bundaberg Christian College
Bundaberg Christian College has approximately 800 students enrolled in the college. The facility includes more than 40 classrooms, a multipurpose hall and performing and creative arts spaces, a commercial kitchen and an early learning centre.
The school generates approximately half the power used. During 2022 there was an expansion of the classrooms and sections of the system were shut down to facilitate this. At the start of 2023, the College had 340 Kilowatts of solar panels on 308 kilowatts of panel inverters and 60 kilowatts of battery inverters (250 kwh of useable storage).
