Land and agriculture Central Queensland Mackay Isaac Whitsundays

In 2018, Lendlease entered a 10-year $5 million partnership with the Great Barrier Reef Foundation. Through this partnership, eight programs will be held each year to 2022 that will see around 1,000 of its employees collaborate with local community groups and organisations to learn about the impacts and threats to the Southern region of the Great Barrier Reef.

Together the group is working to find new solutions for six key projects to help improve economic and environmental sustainability of the region.

This case study is part of a series of case studies that have been developed as part of the Queensland Communities in Transition project. It was prepared by The Ecoefficiency Group as part of the Clean Growth Choices Consortium with funding from Queensland Department of Environment and Science.
