Case study: Corinda State High School – Australia’s first accredited carbon-neutral school
Corinda State High School is the first school in Queensland to achieve Carbon Neutral accreditation and the only Climate Active certified secondary school in Australia.
With a population of over 2,000 students and 200 staff, Corinda State High School embarked on a climate active journey to develop environmental sustainability as a strategic priority, conduct audits of the school's emissions, upgrade amenities, implement a behavioural change program and embed sustainability as a curriculum focus.
