By retrofitting the complex with LED lighting, cleaning existing solar panels and replacing air conditioners, City Terraces have reduced the energy use per room occupied by almost 35%.
Their initiatives to reduce waste including using refillable containers for guest consumable products and implementing extra recycling practices have provided a practical example for adopting more sustainable systems that benefit guests, investors and the environment.
