Case study: Carseldine Village

Carseldine Village, a new residential community being developed by Economic Development Queensland, will be the first residential development in Queensland to commit to delivering zero net energy emission homes.

Construction on the first 53 terrace homes, which will be powered by 100% solar and battery energy, is underway, supporting around 60 construction jobs, and saving homeowners up to $1600 per year.

Carseldine Village has been awarded a 5-Star Green Star Communities certification from the Green Building Council of Australia.
