About the Artist in Residence Science Program
The Artist in Residence Science program is a Queensland Government program, managed by the Department of Environment and Science’s Science Division, in consultation with Arts Queensland. The program supports creative collaborative residencies between professional artists and creative practitioners with scientists and the diverse science networks, researchers, data and infrastructure.
This program promotes the role and value of arts and science as key drivers of discovery and growth across Queensland by nurturing our collective and creative intelligence as we work to understand the environmental challenges facing Queensland.
