Further general information about procurement is available from the Queensland Government website.
On-time Payment Policy
The department strives to pay its suppliers within standard business payment terms and adheres to the Queensland Government On-time Payment Policy. If your small business supplies goods or services to the Queensland Government, the On-time Payment Policy could apply to you. For invoices issued from 1 July 2013, the Government will pay penalty interest to eligible small business for all bills on contracts up to $1 million aid greater than 30 calendar days. This only applies to correctly rendered undisputed tax invoices.
