Public notice of revocation proposals under section 33 of the Nature Conservation Act 1992

The Department of Environment and Science gives notice of the proposed amendments:

  • Revoke an area of about 41 hectares from Conondale National Park described as part of proposed lots 2 and 7 on AP23628 (to be described as lots 3, 5 and 6 on AP23765), to be dedicated as additions to Conondale Resources Reserve, about 95 kilometres north-west of Brisbane.
  • Revoke an area of about 12.779 hectares from Beerburrum East State Forest described as part of lot 1 on AP23631 (to be described as lots 100 to 104 on SP328637), about 55 kilometres north of Brisbane.
  • Revoke an area of about 21.8686 hectares from Beerburrum West State Forest described as part of lot 589 on FTY1876 (to be described as lot 100 on SP326158 and lots 101 and 102 on SP329108), about 59 kilometres north of Brisbane.
  • Revoke an area of about 18.2619 hectares from Watalgan State Forest described as part of lot 898 on plan FTY1919 (to be described as lots 1 to 3 on SP327961), about 36 kilometres north-west of Bundaberg.

Comment regarding the proposed revocations to the forestry and protected area estate must be in writing and directed to tenureservices@des.qld.gov.au or the Department of Environment and Science, Tenure Services, PO Box 15187, City East, QLD, 4002.

Comments received by 9 November 2022 will be considered by the chief executive, Jamie Merrick, Director-General.

Amendments to the forestry and protected area estate under the Forestry (State Forests) Regulation 1987 and Nature Conservation (Protected Areas) Regulation 1994 are administered by the Department of Environment and Science.
