The Department of Environment, Science and Innovation is proposing to make an amendment to the Aboriginal Land Regulation 2011 and is seeking views in consideration of the Human Rights Act 2019, including Aboriginal peoples’ and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultural rights.

The amendments to be made are as follows:

Olkola (Kurrumbila) Resources Reserve 1 Cook Omit the entirety of the Olkola (Kurrumbila) Resources Reserve 1, described as Lot 20 on SP241432, containing an area of 103,600ha.
Endeavour River Resources Reserve Cook Declare the Endeavour River Resources Reserve, described as part of Lot 2 on CP867124 and Lot 3 on CP867124, as prescribed protected areas.
