Brisbane Exhibition Grounds — Queensland Heritage Register application

Under the provisions of s.39 of the Queensland Heritage Act 1992, the Department of Environment and Science (the department) gives public notice that an application has been received for the removal of part of a State Heritage Place from the Queensland Heritage Register:

Brisbane Exhibition Grounds
574 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills

Any person or entity may write a submission to the chief executive about the application. Submissions must be made on the basis that part of the place subject to the application does or does not satisfy the cultural heritage criteria.

A copy of the application can be viewed, on the Queensland Heritage Register applications or by contacting the department’s Heritage Branch on 13 QGOV (13 74 68).

Please note that all submissions received by the department in response to this advertisement are considered to be public information unless otherwise determined. Copies of submissions will be given to a range of stakeholders, including the owner of the place and the relevant local authority, as part of the cultural heritage significance assessment of the place. Unless consent to release of personal information is given by submitters, personal details are redacted from these copies, except those given to the Queensland Heritage Council when it considers the application.
