Amendments to Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service managed areas that were dedicated on 8 July 2021 including Gheebulum Kunungai (Moreton Island) National Pak and Warrina Conservation Park.

Subordinate Legislation giving effect to the amendments—Subordinate Legislation 2021 No.99.

Amendments to the QPWS Estate Nature Conservation (Protected Areas) Regulation 1994 are administered by the Department of Environment and Science.

Rename the national park to:

  • Gheebulum Kunungai (Moreton Island) National Park
Warrina Conservation Park Cassowary Coast Regional

Redescribe part of the conservation park described as:

  • lot 337 on NR337, as lots 1, 2 and 337 on SP318397, containing an area of about 112.4376 hectares.

Revoke part of Warrina Conservation Park described as:

  • lots 1 and 2 on SP318397, containing an area of about 0.9376 hectares.

The new total area of the conservation park will be about 14.584 hectares.
