Amendments to Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service managed areas that commenced 12 December 2019, including Bellthorpe National Park and Bellthorpe Conservation Park.

Subordinate Legislation giving effect to the amendments—Subordinate Legislation 2019 No. 258.

Amendments to the QPWS Estate under the Nature Conservation (Protected Areas) Regulation 1994 are administered by the Department of Environment and Science.

Bellthorpe National Park

Revoke the dedication of part of Bellthorpe National Park, described as lot 3 on AP19215, containing an area of about 45 hectares, for addition to the existing Bellthorpe Conservation Park to provide for activities consistent with the management principles of the area, its natural and cultural resources and values.

The remaining area description for the national park is about 7,593.5 hectares.

Dedicate as part of Bellthorpe Conservation Park, an area described as lot 3 on AP19215, containing an area of about 45 hectares, previously part of Bellthorpe National Park, to provide for activities consistent with the management principles of the area, its natural and cultural resources and values.

The new area of the conservation park is about 59 hectares.
