Amendments to Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service managed areas that were dedicated on 28 August 2020 including Moreton Island National Park.

Subordinate Legislation giving effect to the amendments—Subordinate Legislation 2020 No. 174.

Amendments to the QPWS Estate under the Nature Conservation (Protected Areas) Regulation 1994 are administered by the Department of Environment and Science.

Moreton Island National Park

Correct an erroneous area description for the national park:

  • from about 16,910 hectares to about 16,908.633 hectares (a decrease of about 1.367 hectares).

Dedicate areas of unallocated State land, described as:

  • lots 46 and 47 on plan USL20258 containing an area of about 42.04 hectares, as part of the national park.

The new total area for the national park will be about 16,950.673 hectares.
