The Department of Environment and Science (Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service) notification about stock on Byfield National Park and Byfield Conservation Park.

This notice is published pursuant to section 154D of the Nature Conservation Act 1992.

Any stock which remains on Byfield National Park or Byfield Conservation Park after 11 November 2022 is considered abandoned and unauthorised and is seized in accordance the Nature Conservation Act 1992.

Claims for any of the seized stock must be made in writing to the Principal Ranger, Capricornia, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service within the two-week claim period commencing on 11 November 2022 and ending on 25 November 2022. Any such claim must be submitted in a statutory declaration and supported by proof of ownership to any stock.

Any unidentifiable stock remaining after the claim period will be removed from the park in accordance with an approved pest management plan.
