Fees and services—Fee for late payment of an annual fee for an environmental authority for a prescribed ERA
← back to Environmentally relevant activities—Application and miscellaneous fees
The annual fees for each threshold of an ERA are based on the environmental risk associated with an activity. This risk is represented by the aggregate environmental score (AES). Lower risk activities have no or a low AES. Each ERA has a potential environmental impact on water, the atmosphere or land. The AES is calculated on the basis of an environmental emissions profile that takes into account the emissions to water, air and land, and a site attribute score for each threshold of an activity.
