An organised event is a non-commercial activity involving the organised use of a part of a QPWS-managed area in a way that is likely to have a detrimental impact on the area or affect the use of the area by other persons. An organised event does not include a traditional activity of a community or group of Aboriginal people or Torres Strait Islanders who have traditional, customary or historical links with an area under Aboriginal tradition or Island custom.
