Volunteer at the Moggill Koala Rehabilitation Centre

Information about volunteering at the Moggill Koala Rehabilitation Centre to help care and rehabilitate sick and injured koalas.

  • One day a week for a maximum of 6 months placement.

This project involves animal husbandry, wildlife care and/or rehabilitation.

Training will be provided.

A low to moderate level of fitness is required.

The positions are open to all members of the community, with preference given to those who:

  • are currently enrolled in a Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor qualification in wildlife or a related field
  • have a qualification in wildlife or a related field and wish to gain practical experience in koala husbandry
  • are currently enrolled in, or have a qualification in, an unrelated field to wildlife but desire an understanding of animal husbandry.
