Friends of Parks: Cape Pallarenda Quarantine Station

Join in CVA’s regular grounds maintenance program at Townsville’s historic Cape Pallarenda Quarantine Station.

  • Year round
  • Once a fortnight, starting at 8am.

For?
  • Volunteer with partner organisation or other government department
  • Anyone can volunteer for this Conservation Volunteers Australia project.

This project involves:

  • General park duties and/or maintenance
  • Rubbish clean-up
  • Track work
  • Weeding and/or revegetation (including plant propagation)

Training will be provided.

The fitness level required will vary with different activities.
