Eungella National Park and greater area closed due to wildfires

Eungella National Park, Mackay Highlands Great Walk, Crediton, Cathu and Mia Mia State Forests have been temporarily closed due to wildfires.

All camping areas, walking tracks and roads are closed until further notice.

This includes the Finch Hatton day use area and walking tracks.

Assessment of damages will occur once it is safe to do so.

Right now, the focus is ensuring the safety of Queenslanders.
