An amendment to a transitional environmental program (TEP) is an amendment to a TEP that is currently approved that achieves compliance with the Environmental Protection Act 1994 (the Act) for the matters dealt with by the program. An amendment to an approved TEP can be applied for, under section 344 of the Act, and may be approved if the administering authority is reasonably satisfied that it will not result in increased environmental harm from the activity being caused by the carrying out of the activity under the amended approval. An amendment to a TEP will incur a single flat fee.
