Case study: Off-Grid Ecotourism Demonstration using Low Pressure Hydrogen

Tourism South East Queensland (West)

Spicers Retreats have been awarded up to $0.94 million in funding through the Queensland Government’s Hydrogen Industry Development Fund for their Off-Grid Ecotourism Demonstration using Low Pressure Hydrogen project. Spicers plan to install a renewable hydrogen generation system and self-contained hydrogen energy systems at four other remote eco-camps on the Scenic Rim Trail. The project will provide a working demonstration of the safe generation, storage, transport and use of low-pressure hydrogen in remote Queensland locations.
