Case study: Boreelum Carbon Project

Land and agriculture Central Queensland

The unique Boreelum Carbon Project is “stacking” soil carbon projects, environmental plantings and a beef herd carbon project on a grazing property in Colosseum, south of Gladstone. The project, which is supported by the Queensland Government under the Land Restoration Fund, will rejuvenate the health of the soil and native vegetation at the property, and improve the overall emissions intensity of the farming operation.
